    School Climate (grades 6-12)
     
    There were significant improvements noted in student reports for:
    • Respectful Climate
    • Parent and Community Involvement
    • Student Involvement
    • High Expectations
    • Caring Adults

    There were significant improvements noted in staff reports for:

    • Respectful Climate
    • Parent and Community Involvement

    Student and staff reports in areas other than those noted above remained relatively stable.


    Peer Risk Behaviors (grades 6-12)
    • Student and staff reports remained relatively stable.
    • Note: Students who had skipped school were more likely to observe peer risk behaviors.

     Student Opinions (grades 3-5)
    • Scores for Caring Others and Social Emotional Learning were slightly above statewide averages
    • Note: Grade 3-5 survey was first administered in 2016
